Mad June est extrêment fière de se joindre à l’initiative CARRÉMENT ROSE des élèves de troisième secondaire du collège Régina Assumpta. Le groupe s’est fait photographier en compagnie de Roxanne, une élève du collège, pour leur portrait rose qui sera vendu aux enchères. Tous les profits de la campagne CARRÉMENT ROSE iront au Centre du Sein de l’Hôpital général juif. En cliquant sur la photo, vous serez redirigé vers le site où vous découvrirez également des portraits de Mistress Barbara, Random Recipe, Patrick Groulx, Claude Rajotte, Marco Calliari et bien d’autres. Mad June is extremely proud to be part of the ten month long campaign initiated by Regina Assumpta College. The band was photographed along with a student from the college, Roxanne, and the picture will be sold at an upcoming auction. All profits go to the Breast Center at the Jewish General Hospital. Hey guys! We’re taking a break from shows until January 26th 2012 to write new songs for our second album, so we want to wish all of you Happy Holidays! We also want to thank you for the support you’ve shown us in the past few years. We feel really blessed. Thanks to all the great venues, soundtechnicians, bartenders, bands, festival organizers and most of all the fans who make it all possible! Thanks to Darwin Defoe and James Serapio who captured really cool live pics for us. Thanks to Emily Ghan who filmed our show in Montreal at Petit Campus. Thanks to Julie-Anne Poulin and her partner Jonathan cause I think we’ll have something cool to show you sometime in 2012. And last but not least, a very special Thank You to our amazing producer and true friend Jeff Dalziel. So until we are back on stage, subscribe to our You Tube Channel where you’ll find clips such as this one below. We’ll post many new videos in the next weeks and I’m pretty sure you won’t want to miss live footage and many bloopers filmed during our shows and trips in 2011. Salut à tous! Nous serons en pause de spectacle jusqu’au 26 janvier 2012 afin d’écrire de nouvelles chansons pour notre deuxième album, alors nous vous souhaitons de passer un fabuleux temps des Fêtes! Nous tenons également à vous remercier pour le support que vous nous témoignez depuis déjà quelques années. Nous sommes très chanceuses. Nous voulons remercier toutes les places de spectacles où nous avons jouer dans la dernière année, les techniciens de son, les bartenders, les organisateurs de festivals, les bands avec qui nous avons joués et surtout vous les fans qui rendez tout cela possible! Merci à Darwin Defoe et James Serapio qui nous ont photographiées en spectacle à plusieurs reprises. Merci à Emily Ghan qui a filmé notre show au Petit Campus à Montréal. Merci à Julie-Anne Poulin et son partenaire Jonathan parce que je pense que grâce à eux, nous aurons quelque chose de beau à vous montrer en quelque part en 2012. Et pour terminer, mais non le moindre, un Merci très spécial au fantastique producteur et notre ami sincère Jeff Dalziel.
